The Riviera Oaks Resort & Racquet Club features 15 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts, fitness, pool, basketball and amazing views. The club offers programming to those staying at the resort, members and their guests.
The Membership Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the membership experience/sales, overseeing the club operations and supporting the Director of Racquets. The Membership Manager is key in creating and supporting a positive culture for the staff, members and guests.
Compensation: $69,000.00 - $70,000.00 BOE
- Responsible for maintaining a schedule of 30% for membership outreach, 30% for membership experience, and 40% for operations.
- Works alongside Director with plans to activate membership drives, and club procedures.
- Responsible for membership prospecting and lead generation.
- Creates membership action plan and goals.
- Manages membership cancellations, freezes and changes of membership.
- Provides monthly membership reports to senior stakeholders.
- Ensures an upbeat and safe environment always for the enjoyment of the membership and staff.
- Ensures compliance of Club rules by membership and staff
- Protects the confidentiality and privacy of the membership.
- Supervise and provide regular training to pro shop attendants so that all pro shop operations run seamlessly.
- Oversee and review POS reports on a daily basis to ensure transactions are properly being entered and resolve any POS issues/questions.
- Reconciling and making weekly deposits following the deposit procedure.
- Collections: Following up with any chargebacks, NSF, nonmember charges on accounts.
- Responsible for community outreach including creating and or utilizing resources such as Facebook, Instagram, City of Weston magazine/twitter.
- Responsible for looking and actively finding community partners.
- Update front desk manuals and operational procedures for staff to follow.
- Review staff daily checklist.
- Respond to members emails and phone call within 24 hours.
- Ordering food and beverage if applicable.
- Maintaining logs: maintenance, suggestions, complaints.
- Organize game arranging requests for all members.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required/needed.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
