Duties:
- Provide grooming services to various breeds of dogs and cats
- Perform bathing, brushing, and styling of pets' fur
- Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other basic grooming tasks
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Assist with pet sitting and kennel duties as needed
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners and understand their grooming preferences
- Ability to handle and restrain pets in a gentle and compassionate manner
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques and styles for various breeds
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming tasks
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
Please note that previous experience as a pet groomer is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide training for candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for working with animals.
