EMPLOYER INFORMATION:
Clifford Beers is a mental health clinic serving children and families. Our mission is to provide
integrated services addressing mental, physical, and social determinants in order to improve
health, resiliency and quality of life for children, families and communities.
PURPOSE:
Providing collaborative care to individuals of all ages with psychiatric disorders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and provide comprehensive treatment to children and adolescents with psychiatric
disorders
- Monitor effectiveness of prescribed treatment modalities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Provide appropriate consultation to other (sub) specialty practitioners
- Maintain up-to-date clinical records
- Submit requested agency and state data and reports following prescribed standards and
timelines
- Adhere to rules and regulations as required by TJC and other regulatory agencies
- Stay up-to-date of new developments in the treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders
- Leverage telehealth technologies as appropriate
- Provide in-service training as needed
- Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- APRN masters, post-masters or doctoral degree with psychiatric mental health experience
- Hold and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in CT
- Minimum of 1 year experience providing service to children, adolescents and parents

REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
TRAVEL:
- This role may require travel throughout the State of Connecticut.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
