Automotive Service Advisor - Clift Buick GMC Adrian, MI

Clift Buick GMC of Adrian, Michigan is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our exciting and motivated team! The ideal candidate will be a customer-oriented professional with a keen ability to interact with customers extensively regarding concerns they may have with their vehicle.

As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer’s experience in the service lane and be the first point of contact for the client as it relates to their vehicle status, repairs, diagnostics, and issues. You will need to become well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling, and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others.

Position Responsibilities

Listening to the customer and taking note of their concerns or issues with their vehicle.

High attention to detail is required for this position when following up with customers, as well as relaying customer statements to our service technicians.

Be knowledgeable of symptoms customers explain, clarifying when needed, but always creating a repair order in full detail for our service technicians.

Verify warranty and contracts with customers, being as transparent as possible.

Develop an estimated cost in full detail for the customer, always following up with them when a finalized cost is made.

Maintain service repair records fully organized and with no mistakes.

Communicate with the service team to ensure technicians are not backed up with orders or work.

Position Requirements

Current MI Driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.

Exceptional customer service skills and interactions.

Excellent communication and organization skills among team members and clients.

Outgoing personality able to listen attentively.

Works great in a team environment.

Previous service advisor / writer experience is valued.

Automate and XTIME experience is a plus.

Must pass background check and physical.

Operating Hours

Monday-Friday 7 : 30am-5 : 30pm

Saturday 8 : 00am-12 : 00pm

Sunday Closed
