Job Title: Instructional Technology Specialist
Reports to: Campus Principal/Technology Director

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist staff and students to effectively incorporate the use of technology into instructional programs and curriculum. Be responsible for training, modeling, and assisting teachers in integrating technology in the classroom to improve student achievement. Coordinate the management of instructional and non- instructional networks. Acquire and update skills as necessary for effective instructional technology management. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain instructional hardware and software. Train users in applications on the integration of technology into lesson planning. Provide support and efficient data to campus level personnel. Ensure efficient and effective access to information and related technology to all campus and administrative departments. Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the Information Technology systems for the elementary campus.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree required
Valid Texas teaching certificate
Masters in Instructional Technology preferred, but not required.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of instructional software applications
Ability to compile and produce data reports from instructional vendors for data-driven decisions
Ability to develop and deliver technology training to adult learners
Knowledge of curriculum and technology used in instructional setting
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize student and staff needs
Ability to troubleshoot
Ability to maintain composure under pressure
Ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously
Experience:
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of classroom teaching experience.
Must have experience in the support of instructional software applications or working with instructional software in an educational environment.
Must have experience working with and demonstrating the use of instructional and assessment technology, reports, and data.
Must have experience in data meetings.
Must have experience with national, state and benchmarking assessment platforms.
