Location: Charlotte, NC (Day-1 onsite)

Month Contract

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable microservices using Java and Spring Boot for our RCS platform.
• Implement RCS features and functionalities, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Integrate with various RCS platforms and APIs, including [mention specific platforms if known, e.g., Google RCS, Twilio, etc.].
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RCS implementation and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in RCS and Java development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms.
• Ensure the security and privacy of user data within the RCS platform.

Skills:

• Proven experience Java development, with a strong understanding of core Java concepts.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL and NoSQL databases).
• Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., SIP, MSRP).
• Experience with RCS standards and specifications is a strong plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
