Winder Operator - Day Shift

Role Description

This role’s primary responsibilities are to perform periodic quality inspections, packaging of rolled goods, and movement of goods for storage or shipping. Other responsibilities include assisting in preventative and other maintenance activities as required to ensure safe and reliable function.

Position available second shift (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Key Responsibilities

· Operation of winder to ensure proper roll build.

· Quality checks to ensure product conformance.

· Packaging of rolled goods.

· Movement of rolled goods to storage or to shipping.

· Maintaining clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
• Basic math skills.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to perform activities that require frequent bending and lifting.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a warm environment.
