We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager or an experienced Refrigeration technician looking to make the jump to management, if you were good at setting sales leads, selling upgrades, and talking about IAQ you might be the person!

Climate Control Services has been in business since 1976 and recently joined the Right Away Group of companies. We pride ourselves on being the best call for any HVAC, Plumbing or Appliance repair needs in Palm Beach County.  Our core business is HVAC. 

Responsibilities 
  • Achieve the budgeted gross margin outlined in the Company Business Plan by supervising:
  • Technicians: Maximize lead opportunities based on the company’s business plan 
  • Maintain Right Away Membership established conversion rates on repair clients
  • Installation Technicians: Must not exceed an established labor-to-revenue percentage.
  • Manage the Parts and Warehouse Coordinator: Must achieve maximum purchasing and delivery efficiency, issue purchase orders, and parts requisitions; maintain appropriate inventory levels ensuring next-day availability; control inventory usage and maintain appropriate inventory controls including access and counts.
  • Regulate equipment and parts usage to achieve the budgeted gross margin percentage.
  • Meet with Technicians and Installers at least once per week, making sure that the Technicians and Installers are well educated about their specific contributions necessary to achieve the Company Business Plan. Provide effective, ongoing technical and communication training.
  • Ensure that all production personnel complies with OSHA safety standards and team members are safety conscious at all times. Cover at least one safety topic in each weekly meeting and conduct a major safety-training meeting at least once each quarter.
  • Must Maintain a positive team spirit at all times and is totally committed to providing 100% satisfaction to each of the company’s clients.
  • Must Supervise – Once expectations are clearly explained and the necessary training has been conducted, you must check to make sure that all team responsibilities are fulfilled. The team members need to know that you are intent on enforcing all operational standards. Inspect what you Expect!
  • Must Motivate – Be a leader for the technicians and installers. Show them that you are willing to do anything that they are asked to do. Help each associate realize where the company is headed and how important they are in helping it grow. Be an optimist! Be enthusiastic! Always encourage the technicians to find a reason why something WILL work, instead of why it WON’T work.
  • Administrate – Make absolutely sure you understand and follow the guidelines for reporting procedures and paperwork:
  • Be neat and detailed when completing your paperwork and expect the same of your employees.
  • Review invoices/paperwork submitted by field personnel daily to ensure all necessary information is recorded neatly and accurately.
  • Keep a calendar listing when different reports are due and adhere to it.
  • Make sure that employee and client concerns are handled immediately.
  • Provide daily production report information to the Administrative Manager by 9 a.m. each day.
  • Continually recruit new Technicians and Installers.
  • Ensure training of all field personnel on Right Away systems, tools, and procedures, utilizing in-house training, and ride along,
  • Conduct ride-along with service technicians and complete ride-along forms. Provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  • Ensure that all new installations are installed with the highest quality standards. Ensure that all permits are pulled and inspected as local code requires.
  • Protect the company’s assets. Monitor how the trucks, tools, and inventory are handled. You have the responsibility to make sure they are well-maintained and protected.
  • Assist other team members as needed on the job site. Personally run service appointments and perform installations as needed to make sure that all client obligations are met.
  • Review paperwork and Coach technicians daily to ensure all paperwork is filled out properly 
  • Monitor dispatch board on a daily continuing basis, ensuring Dispatching for Profits is being followed.
  • Monitor any backlogs to ensure that each working day is maximized.
  • Ensure jobs are dispatched one at a time to all Technicians, and Installers.
  • Ensure that dispatch, arrival, and completion times are accurately recorded.
  • Ensure all paperwork is being turned in daily by Technicians, and Installers with timesheets reflecting hourly wages, and sales commissions for each call or job completed. Monitor overtime hours.
  • Manage the dispatching of all service and scheduled service calls to ensure maximum efficiency of scheduling without compromising client satisfaction and honoring our on-time commitment.
  • Obey, teach, and enforce the Right Away Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and Team Philosophy.

  • Deep understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Ability to analyze financial data

Salary : $90,000 - $150,000
