Climate Engineering Companies is a HEAVY-DUTY truck, trailer and Transport Refrigeration Unit repair company with multiple locations. We are looking for A HIGHLY motivated Parts Coordinator that will be responsible for inventory, purchasing, and growing our parts revenue to join our dynamic team in Springfield, MA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service and efficient operations. We are looking for an individual who can work independently to perform the following duties:
- Provide parts counter service to the local service department
- Inventory management: maintain inventory levels, organize parts, and ensure parts are accurate, high-quality, and free of damage
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Purchasing: work with suppliers to source parts, negotiate prices, and place orders
- Customer service: assist customers and use sales skills to boost parts sales
- Tracking and analyzing sales opportunities
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
- Order process: oversee the order process for replacement parts, track orders, and confirm shipments
- Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them
Requirements:
- Leadership, sales and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the industry including marketing plans
- Strategic thinking and negotiation skills
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mathematical skills to help manage the inventory, pricing and estimates
- Problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes loud environment
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen and have a clear driving record.
