POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee the development and implementation of the company's facility management program to maintain proper facility functionality and cleanliness in the most cost-effective way. Employ a balanced combination of advanced analytical techniques, experimental methods, and management skills. Works in a cross-functional team environment across all Climate Control Group entities and teams.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of facilities and facilities related equipment
- Plan and oversee facility related projects, renovations and refurbishments
- Plan and manage facility central services such as reception, cleaning, waste disposal and parking
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships
- Coordinate, monitor, and reconcile activities of external contractors
- Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met
- Ensure project schedules, terms of service, and quality criteria are met
- Plan for and manage appropriate facility maintenance and housekeeping staffing levels
- Performance management, development and training of staff
- Prepare and track facility budget
- Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Advise on and monitor energy efficiency
- Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures
- Provide prompt response to requests on facility related issues
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work assignments; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing concerns and resolving problems.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : Degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering or related qualification such as project management, business management or construction management
Experience :
Computer Skills : Microsoft office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
