Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Stock shelves and ensure that merchandise is organized and displayed attractively.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations on the sales floor.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.

Skills

• Strong phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries effectively.
• Proficient in cash handling with attention to detail for accurate transactions.
• Knowledge of retail math to assist with pricing and inventory tasks.
• Ability to stock merchandise efficiently while maintaining an organized environment.

• Experience in retail sales is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $13.25 - $13.50 per hour
