Description
The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department with daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The position is responsible for the administration of all recruiting, employee on-boarding and off-boarding, employee benefits administration, support of payroll administration and our assessment program. This also includes Human Resource Information System (HRIS) coordination, benefits administration, employee orientation, HRIS electronic and electronic files management and all regulatory compliance relative to personnel and benefits. This position uniformly applies HR policies and procedures; coordinates all assigned HR responsibilities within Climb's Credit Union's policies and guidelines as established; and facilitate this process in compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Requirements
What will you be doing?
- Manages the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers. This includes:
• Collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions that align with organizational goals.
• Partnering with our recruiting company and utilizing various sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to attract top talent.
• Staying informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment processes. - Administering the day-to-day processes for the company’s HRIS system regarding administrative issues and other changes including the following:
• Administering any changes to an employee’s employment status authorized by management, including pay changes, promotions/transfers and other personnel changes.
• Ensure data integrity by regularly auditing HRIS records and conducting system updates as needed.
• Managing the reports generated from the HRIS and the confidentiality and disposition of this information.
• Monitors the software-related issues with the HRIS/payroll vendors and resolving issues when required. - Manages the on-boarding orientation process for all newly-hired employees; and the off-boarding for all employee separations including the management of all personnel actions, notifications; plus the related electronic and hard-copy personnel files and records management.
- Administering the company’s benefit programs on an ongoing basis. This includes:
• Consulting with and advising employees on their eligibility for these and other related benefits.
• Maintains benefits records and documents necessary for implementing benefit coverage; and distribution of plan documents and employee communications relating to benefits.
• Recommendations adjustments to these programs to reflect employee and the company’s needs in preparation, coordination and reconciliation of the annual open enrollment process.
• Working directly with the HR Manager to administer the company’s 401(k) program. - Provide assistance and support to the HR Manager in completion of project management responsibilities. This also includes collaborating with HR leaders to design, implement, and evaluate HR programs and initiatives that drive employee engagement, retention, and performance.
- Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. This also includes conducting regular audits of HR practices, records, and systems to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
Qualifications:
- One to three years of similar or related experience.
- (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
- Understanding of general HR policies, procedures and resources with an emphasis on recruiting/onboarding, payroll and employee relations.
This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting annual pay of $60,000.00, depending on experience, education and qualifications.
