Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Labor & Delivery
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 1 year - 18 months
License : Registered Nursing License
Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or above, STABLE (for Nursery)
Must-Have : General OB Labor & Delivery and Nursery care experience
Job Description :
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the Labor & Delivery and Nursery units.
- Ensure patient safety and quality health outcomes.
- Utilize general OB unit equipment and EHR system to manage patient care.
- Comply with patient ratios per A1 guidelines.
- Participate in general OB delivery and nursery activities, covering low delivery volumes.
- Follow established protocols and collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive care.
- Adapt to floating requirements if units are closed due to census.
- Wear scrubs of any color as per dress code policy.
Additional Notes : OB unit generally experiences low volume with less than 15 deliveries per month, contributing to a unique working environment focused on patient-centered care.
Note : This is a replacement position for permanent staff. We prefer candidates with strong interpersonal skills who can integrate well into our team.
