Position Summary : Essential Funtions :
Qualifications
Education : Formal education in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Science with an Associates Degree or Certificate of Completion is required with concentration in Polysomnography. Experience : Minimum of one (1) successful year as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, with proven skills in performing respiratory care in a hospital environment, including arterial blood gas puncture and analysis, aerosol and oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation and proved skills in Polysomnography. Special Qualifications : RRT Credentials required (NBRC). State license from the Virginia State Board of Medicine required with credentialing in Sleep Medicine. Current BLS certification, ACLS desirable.
