Job Title : Oracle Developer - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Introduction : We are looking for an experienced and innovative Oracle Developer with expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to join our team. As an Oracle Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions on OCI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and implement Oracle-based solutions in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Write, test, and maintain PL / SQL code, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support applications and business processes.
Collaborate with application teams to understand requirements and design database structures that support application functionalities.
Utilize Oracle Cloud services such as Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata, and Oracle Cloud databases to implement solutions.
Optimize and tune Oracle database performance in the cloud environment, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Perform data migrations and integrate on-premise systems with OCI-based solutions.
Work with cloud-native tools such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure CLI, OCI SDKs, and other DevOps automation tools to support development and deployment.
Maintain security best practices in database development, ensuring data privacy, access control, and regulatory compliance.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve database-related issues in a cloud environment.
Provide technical guidance on database design, optimization, and cloud integration strategies.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and CI / CD pipelines for Oracle-based applications.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for all database development activities, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Proven experience as an Oracle Developer with expertise in Oracle databases, including PL / SQL programming, SQL optimization, and database tuning.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), specifically with Oracle Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service, and Oracle Cloud databases.
Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and services, including Oracle Cloud Networking, Compute, and Storage.
Proficiency in using Oracle development tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, and OCI SDKs.
Experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or OCI CLI.
Familiarity with integrating OCI services with on-premise or hybrid infrastructure.
Understanding of data security best practices, including encryption, access control, and regulatory compliance in OCI environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly related to database performance and cloud infrastructure.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI / CD practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
