What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer - Web Based Application position at ClinDCast?
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in web-based applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance , test automation, and database testing. This role requires hands-on experience with PHP frameworks, Oracle databases, and API testing tools to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for web-based applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing using tools like Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress, and JMeter.
- Work closely with developers to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities .
- Write and optimize SQL queries and PL / SQL scripts to validate database transactions and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools to verify RESTful services.
- Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI / CD for automated testing.
- Monitor and analyze application performance , identifying potential bottlenecks in databases and backend services .
