Responsibilities : Observe and participate in design meetingsCreate electronic and physical finish boardsMaintain and organize finish libraryGain familiarity with associated design technologies such as Revit, InDesign, Sketchup, etc.May assist with drawing corrections as neededAssist Interior Designers and Project Managers with various aspects of the design process, including concept imagery, selection of finishes, lighting, and furnitureAttend and assist designers with site visits as neededParticipate in team meetings when schedule permitsGeneral administrative tasksEducation and Experience :
Currently attending an accredited college or university to obtain Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or ArchitectureCapable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProfessionalism with clients, vendors, co-workers, etc.Takes instruction well and executes tasks efficiently under guidanceKnowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, and finish materialsBasic graphic and visualization skills, as well as verbal, written and presentation skillsBasic knowledge in Adobe InDesign and PhotoShopEncouraged to attend industry events
