What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Designer position at Cline Design Associates PA?
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of construction documents, drafting standards, and all project phases, including concept design, space planning, technical detailing, furniture layouts, and finish specifications.
- Assist in the selection and specification of materials, finishes, and lighting.
- Organize project files, materials, and prepare presentations.
- Support the creation of 3D renderings.
- Assist in developing construction documents and incorporating drawing revisions.
- Prepare cutsheets and documentation for consultants.
- Research code requirements and gain an understanding of life safety plans and Appendix B compliance.
- Participate in reviewing submittals and RFIs.
- Communicate with sales representatives and vendors, including scheduling meetings.
