Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. The FNP will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on diagnostic evaluations and patient needs.
- Provide treatment for acute and chronic illnesses, including managing medications and therapies.
- Perform diagnostic procedures as necessary, including but not limited to cardiac catheterization.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in internal medicine and occupational health practices.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner studies is required.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from an accredited board is essential.
- Experience in critical care or hospital settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of anatomy and diagnostic evaluation techniques is necessary for effective patient assessment.
- Previous experience in medical office settings or with infant care will be considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
