Compensation: Approximately $18.90 - $21.91 per hour. All individual pay rates are calculated based on the candidate's experience and internal equity.
Overview of Role:
Serve as a clerical assistant and support to the Clinic Operations Manager and Nurse Team Managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides back up to the Office Manager and Clinic Operations Manager (COM) position.
- Opens and distributes mail.
- Orders medical, group visit, and office supplies.
- Maintains inventory and storage areas.
- Makes bank deposits and assist in monitoring clinic cash flow.
- Maintains patient education materials.
- Completes CLIA, OSHA, and safety daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- Receives VFC vaccines, unpack, and maintain proper storage.
- Supports OM/COM with other compliance related tasks.
- Responsible for completing patient record matches (clinical message manager holding tank).
- Places work orders for equipment repairs and environmental services.
- .Point of contact for all outside vendors
- Maintains knowledge appropriate to the level of the role about CLIA, OSHA, VFC, AAAHC, and other regulations governing the work supported.
- Proactively seeks clarification and/or guidance on new and existing responsibilities when any discrepancy in knowledge is realized.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of administrative experience is required, healthcare experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to perform under pressure and work in a team management system is required.
- Computer knowledge including familiarity with MS Office and Electronic Medical Records.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
