About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented laboratory professional to join our team in Hilo, HI. As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-complexity testing, analyzing results, and implementing effective solutions in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct moderate and high-complexity testing to support patient care
- Analyze and review test results, recognizing when corrective action is necessary
- Implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Current certification from ASCP or AMT as a laboratory scientist (MLS) or medical laboratory technician (MLT)
- 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high-complexity testing
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
