Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory professional to join our team. As a key member of our clinical laboratory, you will play a critical role in providing accurate data to the healthcare team for optimal diagnosis and treatment monitoring of disease states.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues
- Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited program
- Current and active certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) as a laboratory scientist (MLS), formerly known as MT/CLS or American Medical Technologist, as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Ability to operate general laboratory equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of laboratory experience in a hospital/commercial lab setting
