We are working with one of the largest physician-owned clinics in the Midwest that's looking to add a full-time Ortho-Hand Surgeon to their growing team! The multispecialty clinic has over 270 providers practicing in more than 40 specialties, averaging 556,000 patient visits annually. They have an external referral base that includes 1.3 million and are ranked #1 in the state in quality and outcomes according to Wellmark in 2022. The clinic participates in a multi-group ACO and continues to be significantly below market in total cost of care and ER admission / readmission. They have a dedicated Care Team to assist with care gaps, patient outreach, care management, real-time ER and admission monitoring, post discharge follow-up care, and RX support. The clinic is in the 94th percentile for Physician Engagement per Press Ganey's 2020 Engagement survey.
About the Role
This is 100% Ortho - Hand. This position involves typically 3 days of clinic and 2 days in the OR with no call required. There are between 2-8 surgeries per day in the OR. The role offers a guaranteed salary for the first two years with the opportunity to earn more. A generous sign-on bonus is provided, and there is a 2-year partnership track available. The position also includes relocation assistance, 5 weeks off per year plus holidays, and up to $4k and 5 days for CMEs. BC / BE is required, along with an Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Hand Fellowship being highly preferred. Candidates with a General Surgery residency will be considered with Ortho-Hand experience. EMR with Virtual Scribe Service is utilized, and there is a generous 401(k) profit sharing retirement plan along with comprehensive health benefits.
