A leading acute care hospital located in upstate New York is now seeking an experienced Acute Care Pharmacist to join their award-winning healthcare team. This academic teaching hospital is home to nearly 200 inpatient beds and offers a wide variety of inpatient, outpatient, and tertiary care services. This location is a proud leader in many services including cardiovascular, cancer care, and neurological services. This organization's cancer care team is composed of nationally accredited medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists along with trained oncology certified nurses. With advanced diagnostic resources, this organization is prepared to help care for and treat a variety of cancer types. Reporting to the Director Pharmacy, the Acute Care Pharmacist will ensure the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients in an inpatient care setting. Primary responsibilities include providing input to pharmacy and clinical leadership, contributing to quality control, supervising pharmacy support personnel, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and utilizing best clinical judgment. This is a full-time night shift position with a 7-on-7-off schedule.

- Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD level education
- Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of New York or ability to obtain
