A leading acute-care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced Acute Care Pharmacist to join their accredited healthcare team.This hospital is regionally known for providing high quality patient-centered care to the surrounding communities for more than a century. This organization is also proud to have received more than 20 National awards over the last four years, including those for quality patient care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction scores.Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the Acute Care Pharmacist will ensure the safe and effective use of medications within an acute care hospital setting. The Inpatient Pharmacist will assess physician orders, contributes to and follows department policies, ensures compliance with state and organization guidelines, obtains and interprets patient needs, maintains educational proficiency, oversees preparation and dispensing of patient medications, assists with inventory management, and works as part of a collaborative team.

- Graduate from an accredited school of Pharmacy
- Completion of PGY1 preferred but not required
