Job Description: As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will report to the Manager of the Medical Surgical and Step Down Units. You will have multiple Charge Nurses who are able to provide assistance with any issues that arise. Your role will include direct and indirect patient care in the Acute Care setting.
Responsibilities: Formulate a care plan based on identified needs, facilitate interventions and referrals as appropriate, effectively communicate identified needs and care plans with the multidisciplinary care team, evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust the care plan accordingly.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. A strong understanding of patient care and medical procedures is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
