This Southern California hospital is actively interviewing for a Provider Services Director.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and working in close coordination with the Chief Medical Officer, the Director of Medical Staff Services will take on a role that’s critical to the mission and compliance of this community hospital. Leading a CPCS Physician Credentialing team, as well as a CPMSM MedStaff Coordinator, the Director will oversee a wide range of administrative responsibilities.Serving as a resource for the Medical Staff, the Physician and Provider Services Director will manage both operational and administrative activities. This person will monitor and supervise accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, managing how the hospital incorporates changes into its policy and procedures. The Director will also coordinate credentialing activities, peer review, and physician quality improvement processes. Serving as a resource for education, this person will also be a liaison and collaborator for ongoing educational programs internally and externally.The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working in Acute Care, Inpatient Provider Services support roles. This Director should understand the legal and regulatory landscape for hospital medicine, as well as compliance frameworks, HIPAA requirements, and quality management techniques.The Medical Staff Services Director will find that Southern California has something for everyone.
