As a PGY1 Hospital Emergency Pharmacist, you will report directly to the Pharmacy Manager. You will work closely with Physicians, Emergency Department Nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You will also have the full support of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and other staff as you lead initiatives to enhance medication safety, optimize pharmacotherapy, and improve patient outcomes.
The Hospital PGY1 Emergency Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing medication therapy management for critically ill patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring optimal drug regimens and adherence to safety protocols. You will actively participate in multidisciplinary team rounds, offering real-time pharmacotherapy recommendations to enhance patient care. Additionally, you will manage Emergency Department protocols and ensure the highest standards of drug safety.
