Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Environmental Safety Coordinator will support the daily operations of the hospital’s occupational health and environmental compliance programs. The Environmental Safety Coordinator will work directly with Safety Resource Officers and Materials Management teams, assists in hazardous material response, conducts workplace hazard assessments, addresses environmental hazards, performs routine indoor air quality analysis, performs noise surveys, and ensures overall construction safety.
- What Makes You Awesome :
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- Prior experience working in an inpatient hospital setting
- Certified Health Safety Professional or OSHA HAZWOPER Certifications highly desirable
