As the Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee all aspects of daily pharmacy operations, ensuring safe medication management processes throughout the hospital. Your responsibilities will include managing budgets for pharmacy staff and inventory, establishing effective communication with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient care.
You will be responsible for staying abreast of technological and clinical practice changes, implementing improvements as necessary. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies and hospital policy/procedures. The Director of Pharmacy Services will be accountable for planning and operational management of the hospital Pharmacies.
In this role, you will deliver quality patient care through effective and efficient policies and procedures, while maintaining cost-effectiveness. You will monitor labor productivity and financial data within the department and provide leadership in planning, budgeting, formulary management, standardization of processes, and implementation of strategic plans, best practice clinical programs, and cost-saving initiatives.
