About the Role
As the PGY1 Hospital Emergency Pharmacist, you will report directly to the Pharmacy Manager and work closely with Physicians, Emergency Department Nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You will also have the full support of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and other staff as you lead initiatives to enhance medication safety, optimize pharmacotherapy, and improve patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversight of medication therapy management for critically ill patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring optimal drug regimens and adherence to safety protocols.
- Active participation in multidisciplinary team rounds, offering real-time pharmacotherapy recommendations to enhance patient care.
- Management of Emergency Department protocols and maintenance of the highest standards of drug safety.
