Job Summary:
We're looking for a seasoned Pharmacy Services Manager to oversee the inpatient pharmacy department at one of our short-term acute care hospitals. As a key member of our clinical team, you'll contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care and services, while supporting the growth and development of our staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the inpatient pharmacy department, ensuring efficient operations and effective management of resources.
- Collaborate with the Inpatient Pharmacy Services Director to develop and implement strategic plans for improving patient outcomes and departmental performance.
- Mentor and coach staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and support their professional development.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A PharmD degree, or equivalent, and significant leadership experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
- A strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including staffing, scheduling, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships within the team and with external stakeholders.
