Job Description: Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Hospital Pharmacist will work with a great team of Clinical Pharmacists and Pharm Techs to serve Acute Care patients. The pharmacist will consult with Providers and provide patient education on medications and adverse reactions. They will also serve as an expert for the healthcare team, including Nurses, to provide Drug and Treatment Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with Providers to provide patient education on medications and adverse reactions
- Serve as an expert for the healthcare team to provide Drug and Treatment Education
- Perform drug utilization reviews and inventory management
- Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with patient care teams
- Provide optimal patient and family customer service
