Key Responsibilities
The Nursing Leadership Development Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Education, supported by other educators and nurse managers and directors working on educational efforts for their staff. This role involves:
- Conducting initial and continuing education learning needs assessments of individual nurses and groups of nurses within the acute care units.
- Maintaining current best practices and ensuring compliance with hospital guidelines.
- Developing educational programs for nurses at all career levels that are creative and align with the hospital's guidelines, needs, and goals.
- Evaluating educational programs upon completion to ensure purpose and objectives are achieved.
- Implementing programs and courses that promote the professional development of Nurses.
