The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to develop patient-specific meal plans and dietary guidelines in collaboration with dietitians and nutritionists. The supervisor will also communicate with the pharmacy team to ensure awareness of potential food-drug interactions and the appropriate timing of meals with medications.
In addition, this individual will work with infection control and environmental services to maintain high standards of safety and hygiene in all food preparation and service protocols. They will also partner with administration and finance departments on budgeting and procurement to manage costs without compromising nutritional quality.
