Job Description:
As a Perioperative Care Specialist, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vital signs, and overseeing patient recovery from anesthesia. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless patient care. You will also maintain accurate patient records and educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Monitor patients' response to anesthesia and adjust levels as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing or related field.
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or ability to obtain.
- At least two years of experience as a CRNA.
