Job Description
The Clinical Management Consultants Careers team is seeking an experienced and skilled Acute Care Pharmacy Manager to lead our dynamic pharmacy department. As a key member of our hospital's leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including dispensing procedures, inventory management, and regulatory requirements. You should have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in pharmacy management software. Previous leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting is highly desirable.
You will work closely with the Director of Pharmacy to implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of medication safety and accuracy. This includes leading, mentoring, and developing a team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
