This includes coordinating daily case flow, managing both scheduled and add-on surgeries, and collaborating closely with the anesthesia department and other necessary departments to ensure the smooth running of operations. The RN Manager Surgery will also supervise the OR scheduler, ensuring block booking of surgical cases, and monitor the availability of equipment and implants. In addition, the RN Manager Surgery will be responsible for budget management, including completing monthly variance reports and maintaining communication with the Finance Department to ensure accurate charges and reimbursements. The role also involves mentoring and guiding new staff, managing daily staff assignments, scheduling, and facilitating educational opportunities to promote professional growth.
