Job Description
The RN Surgical Services will play a vital role in day-to-day clinical and patient care in the Operating Room. Responsibilities include:
- Patient assessment and history review
- Developing a clear path of care with physicians and families
- Circulating in operating suites and supporting pre and post operation turnaround
The Surgical Services Registered Nurse will work closely with an experienced team of Healthcare Professionals, including surgeons, Operating Room Nurses, Post Anesthesia (PACU) Nurses, and Recovery Nurses. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with the attending surgeon/physician and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
The RN Surgical Services will be responsible for:
- Formulating and executing care plans under unit leadership
- Working closely with the Manager to develop efficiency upgrades and operational improvements for the unit
- Leading projects to execute on visions and improve patient care
