What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulatory PACU Nurse position at Clinical Management Consultants?

The Ambulatory PACU Nurse will report directly to the Ambulatory PACU Assistant Nurse Manager. The Ambulatory PACU Nurse will be required to provide daily updates regarding the status of their patients and their needs to their superior and work together with their peers to ensure all safety regulations and policies are being met. Serving as an integral team member to the ambulatory PACU department, the Ambulatory PACU Nurse will work daily to guarantee each patient treated in their OR are receiving the safest, cleanest, and high-quality care.
The Ambulatory PACU Nurse will be required to provide outstanding clinical care to their patients while consistently following the rules and regulations set forth in the ambulatory PACU department. The Ambulatory PACU Nurse must hold an active RN license, and ideally hold their CPAN certification. Equipped with cutting-edge technology within the ambulatory PACU department, the Ambulatory PACU Nurse will be required to be well-versed in any and all medical equipment utilized within the department. The Ambulatory PACU Nurse must be well-versed regarding the care being administered to their assigned patients, and must be able to highlight their patients’ strengths, and also pinpoint any challenges and provide the necessary care to ensure a safe discharge.
