This Community Hospital is a 200-bed facility with a modern ambulatory surgical pavilion and multiple outpatient sites. The American College of Surgeons verified it as a Level III Trauma Center. Our surgical suites are equipped with the latest technologies, allowing the least invasive, safest, and most effective forms of treatment.
As the Assistant Nurse Director of our team, the successful candidate will lead the department by developing patient care service goals through safety, reliability, and quality. Along with Senior Leadership, the Assistant RN Director will create a cohesive culture following the hospital's mission and vision statement. A focus will be on investing in the professional growth and development of Operating Room staff and advocating for multiple Surgical Services Departments, including the Operating Room, Pre-Admission Testing, and Day Surgery. The Surgical Services Nurse Leader will oversee operations, personnel, and performance improvement activities and demonstrate professionalism in supporting hospital policy.
This Nurse Leader will be a critical and analytical thinker. Emotional intelligence will be paramount as they must successfully interact with staff, physicians, managers, and other organizational executives. The ideal candidate is versed in nursing theory and best practice standards.
The Assistant Nurse Director is experienced in Perioperative Nursing leadership within a hospital-based setting. Great candidates include OR Nurse Managers, Assistant Nurse Managers, or Supervisors. Nurse Educators, Assistant Nurse Managers, and RN Supervisors will be considered. RN Leaders with their CNOR, MSN, or MHA will earn quick interviews.
