Reporting to the Senior Director Perioperative Services, the Assistant Nurse Director Operating Room RN has several responsibilities including employee evaluations, scheduling, department staffing and discipline, assisting with quality performance improvement initiatives, and a department mentor and resource for the staff and patients. To ensure high quality nursing standards are consistently met, the Nurse Assistant Nurse Director Operating Room RN will cross collaborate with the other department leaders and the hospital management team.
The Assistant Nurse Director Operating Room RN must have prior management experience, a circulating experience within an operating room, and an active RN license. Ideally, the Assistant Nurse Director Operating Room RN will hold pediatric experience and hold their CNOR certification.
