Key Responsibilities: As the Assistant Nurse Manager for Labor and Delivery, you will collaborate closely with the Nurse Manager to:
- Assure the delivery of top-quality clinical services in alignment with hospital standards.
- Be a role model, coach, and mentor to staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee department operations, including goal setting, budget management, and personnel supervision.
- Collaborate with the Health Care Team to ensure optimum age-appropriate patient care.
- Uphold hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory/accreditation standards.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- Current NY State License.
- BSN degree or enrollment in a BSN program with graduation plans by specified dates.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant leadership experience in an acute care labor and delivery settings (Charge, Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, etc.)
