As the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, you will be at the helm of both strategic and operational leadership across a range of inpatient units. Your mission is to enhance patient outcomes, foster a culture of excellence, and support the professional development of nurse leaders. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, management staff, and other stakeholders to drive initiatives that align with the hospital’s overall strategic plan. Your expertise in acute care hospital settings will be critical as you lead operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion patient safety and quality care.
To excel in this role, you’ll need a blend of experience, expertise, and enthusiasm. We’re looking for someone who has successfully led and built teams in an acute care hospital environment, and who can support nurse leader development with a servant leadership mentality. Your ability to develop strong relationships with physicians and management staff will be crucial, as will your strategic mindset that balances immediate operational needs with long-term planning. You should have a deep understanding of how to establish better patient outcomes, particularly in terms of patient safety and quality care.
This Vice President of Nursing Operations must possess VP level leadership experience in a similar sized acute care hospital (400 beds). This leader must also possess strong interpersonal skills and a history of effective collaboration with physicians. Extensive inpatient medical/surgical, and women's services experience is required.
