As the Behavioral Health NP / PA, your responsibilities include thorough assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, developing and implementing on-target treatment plans including prescribing appropriate pharmacological agents consistent with facility guidelines, providing continuous education to patients and families, providing instruction to staff members including precepting, shadowing, lectures, rounds, and / or staff meetings, interacting with patients and families in a professional and respectful manner, and engaging in quality improvement measures within the department. Top applicants will be licensed as a RN in North Carolina, be a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina and have at least 2 years of behavioral health and substance abuse counseling experience.
