Working collaboratively with the local University School of Medicine, the Cancer Center Medical Director will manage a team of surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and primary care providers in the care of hematology and oncology patients. The Cancer Center Medical Director will be responsible for administrative oversight of the Cancer Center, compliance and quality initiatives, education of staff and fellow physicians, and ensure operational excellence. In addition, the Cancer Center Medical Director will assist the Division Head and Section Chief with public engagements and leading the Cancer Committee and Tumor Boards.
Requirements:
- MD, MD/PhD, DO, MBBS, or MBBCh
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology
- Demonstrated leadership and provider experience
- Experience with Program Policy Development
- Provider mentorship experience
