A leading acute care hospital located in northern Maryland is currently searching for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Charge Nurse to join their accredited healthcare team.
This award-winning hospital is home to more than 250-beds and provides a wide range of medical and surgical specialties to a community of more than 100,000 people. Known as a leading healthcare provider for the DMV region, this acute care organization offers behavioral health, cardiovascular care, oncology services, perioperative services, radiology, women’s and children’s services, pediatrics, wound care, and much more. Over the last decade, this healthcare system has proudly expanded to include a number of regional locations such as outpatient women’s health, home health, hospice care, and a leading cancer institute.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Charge Nurse will help lead all daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab, including all pre-op and post-op areas. The department is currently performing nearly 2,000 procedures annually including diagnostics, STEMI, pPCI, npPCI, peripheral interventions and electrophysiology procedures for patients ranging from neonates to geriatric. The Charge Nurse will lead daily staff scheduling, assist with orientation and staff trainings, manage quality control projects within the unit, ensure regulatory readiness with all governing bodies, and serve as an expert clinical leader within the unit.

Requirements Include
- Registered Nursing license in the state of Maryland, or compact license
- Prior working leadership experience in a similar setting
- Expert knowledge of cardiac catherization and electrophysiology nursing
