The Cath Lab Technician will be joining a highly-functioning, Level IV Trauma Center that is home to numerous inpatient and outpatient medical specialties such as 24/7 emergency care, heart care, pregnancy and childbirth, and most commonly, orthopedic and bariatric surgery. This opportunity is exceptionally exciting because the Cath Lab Technician will be heavily involved in the process of opening this brand new cath lab! Cardiac services will include an Atrial Fibrillation Program, a TAVR program, an accredited Chest Pain Center, and Cardiac Rehabilitation that will offer a wide array of Cardiovascular Services.
The Cath Lab Technician will demonstrate a strong knowledge of EKG rhythms and will preferably have their RCIS and ARRT Certifications. Previous lab monitoring and scrub experience will make for quick interviews. The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for utilizing clinical and technical expertise to plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures in order to ensure that all patient’s physical and emotional needs are upheld.
In this role, the Cath Lab Technician will collaborate with the Registered Nurses, fellow Cath Lab members, and other staff physicians. Success will be maximized as Cath Lab Tech by actively participating in Cath Lab patient flow, room turnaround, and procedure preparation.
