A leading critical access healthcare system based in northern Maine is now seeking a Certified Medical Assistant Educator to join their award-winning organization.

Reporting to hospital leadership, the Certified Medical Assistant Educator is responsible for developing and implementing system-wide training programs for new and existing Medical Assistant staff. The Certified Medical Assistant Educator will ensure adequate knowledge of drawing blood, administration of injections, verifying medications, taking patient histories, and recording vital signs. Other responsibilities include assessing student performance, maintaining accurate student records, assisting with test preparation, coordinating with clients to ensure student placement, and keeping up to date course materials.
What’s Needed to Succeed :
- Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practice Nurse LPN license in the state of Maine or ability to obtain upon hire
- Progressive knowledge of healthcare practices and coaching skills
- Prior experience in direct patient care is a plus!
