Job Description
A leading acute care hospital based in south Florida is now searching for an experienced Chief Dosimetrist Radiation Oncology to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This not-for-profit acute care hospital is home to more than 400-beds and provides a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services. This location is known for its expert care in a number of specialties including cardiovascular, oncology, women’s health, perioperative services, emergency medicine, and neurosciences. This hospital is also a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Under supervision of the Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists, the Chief Dosimetrist will oversee the treatment planning for external beam photon care plans. Primary responsibilities include helping to develop the radiation oncology program, provide training to radiation oncology staff, ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, and aids in special procedures and brachytherapy care planning.
What’s Needed to Succeed :
- MDCB Certified Medical Dosimetrist
- Degree in a Physical Science or Radiation Therapy Technology
- Prior leadership experience is a plus!
